first off, thank you for viewing my profile - as an artist still trying to find her place in the art world, i am excited to be part of an online community of so many talented and inspiring artists if you do not find any drawn out explanations of my paintings it is because i have not yet found adequate words to describe the works i have completed in the past - however, for quite some time now, i have been interested in the questioning and challenging of the systems that create and govern self and social identity - how is the media and self identity mutually affected by each other? what are the consequences of living in a world of "mediated"
